Bernedoodle overview
Sizes run from tiny (under 25 lb) to standard (70–90 lb) depending on the Poodle used. Tri-colour and merle listings command premiums, but colour should never outrank health testing and structure in your decision.
Temperament
Calm and goofy, often slower to mature than a Poodle. Many are mildly reserved with strangers and benefit from broad early socialisation.
Grooming
Thick wavy to curly coat needing brushing several times a week and regular grooming.
Health considerations
Look for hips, elbows, cardiac and eye clearances plus DNA panels covering DM, vWD and PRA. Ask about the Bernese cancer history in the line.
